FAQ

Private jet charter, questions answered.

The things clients ask most — about cost, booking, aircraft, the Gulf and how we work. Don't see yours? Just ask.

How much does it cost to charter a private jet?

Private jet charter is priced per trip, not per seat. The main drivers are the aircraft category, the route and flight time, one-way versus return, and airport and seasonal fees. For a full breakdown see our Charter cost, and send us your trip for an exact figure.

Is there a fixed hourly rate for a private jet?

There's no single hourly rate — a light jet on a short European hop and an ultra-long-range jet to the Gulf sit far apart. We quote each trip independently across thousands of aircraft, so you get the best fit for your route and budget rather than a jet we need to fill.

How do I book a private jet?

Tell us the route, dates and number of passengers by getting in touch, email or WhatsApp. We check live availability, recommend the best aircraft with a clear quote, and once you confirm we handle the contract, slots, handling and crew — you just turn up and fly.

How far in advance should I book?

As early as you can for peak dates — ski weeks, summer islands and major events fill up. That said, private charter is flexible: when aircraft are available we regularly arrange flights within hours, not days.

What is an empty leg, and can it lower the price?

An empty leg is a repositioning flight an aircraft would otherwise fly empty. When its route and timing happen to match yours, it can cost significantly less. They're opportunistic rather than something to plan a trip around, so tell us your flexibility and we'll watch for a match.

How do I choose the right aircraft?

It comes down to passengers, luggage, distance and budget. From turboprops and light jets for short hops to heavy and ultra-long-range jets for intercontinental travel — browse the fleet, and we'll recommend the right category for your trip.

Can you arrange private jets to and from Dubai and the UAE?

Yes. We charter to and from Dubai (DXB and DWC) and across the UAE, including short regional hops and non-stop links between the Gulf and Europe. See Private jet Dubai and Jet rental UAE for airports, routes and how we quote Gulf trips.

Is private jet charter safe? How do you choose operators?

Safety is non-negotiable. We work only with certified operators whose aircraft and crews meet recognised industry standards, and we confirm the specific aircraft and operator for every trip so you always know who is flying you.

What's included in the price — are there hidden fees?

A quote typically covers the aircraft, crew, fuel, standard handling and catering. Anything variable — certain airport charges, de-icing or special requests — is flagged up front, so there are no surprises on the day.

What are the luggage and pet allowances?

Private charter is far more generous than airlines, though limits still depend on the aircraft's cabin and hold. Pets are usually welcome in the cabin. Tell us your luggage and whether you're travelling with pets, and we'll match an aircraft that fits comfortably.

What happens if I'm delayed or need to cancel?

If you're running late we do our best to hold the aircraft within the crew's legal duty limits. Cancellation terms depend on the operator and how much notice you give; we set them out clearly in your quote before you commit, so you always know where you stand.

Do you also offer helicopters and transfers?

Yes. Alongside jets we arrange single- and twin-engine helicopters for airport transfers, city-to-resort hops and scenic legs — ideal for the first and last mile a jet can't cover, such as reaching an alpine resort or a yacht.

Which routes and destinations do you cover?

We fly city to city across the UK, Europe and the Gulf — popular pairs like Milan–Nice, London–Ibiza, Geneva–Courchevel and London–Dubai, plus any route on request. Browse our routes or simply ask us to quote yours.
